This product is specially designed to be part of a new breed of products taking account of “sustainable design” criteria. The rubber backing is made of reprocessed car tyres and represents a re-use of materials.

The top coating which is both durable and absorbent to moisture is made of a mix of recycled plastic PET drink bottles, virgin polyester and is washable.

To improve the utility of using this product, care has been taken to minimise the use of chemicals during the manufacturing process. To complete the product we even have our own installation of solar panels to power the process of printing our attractively designed graphics.

Additionally we have taken steps to reduce the CO2 emissions associated with this product during manufacture. And finally, having reduced the emissions to a minimum, we have offset the balance, buying trees to support the dual outcome of fixing the CO2 and providing habitat for Australian native animals.
